I have several of these systems available for $125 each (pickup in Benicia)
They are used systems that are complete and have been fully tested, They were previously mounted in police cars.
They record audio and video up to 8hrs per tape.
You get......
Windshield Camera - - Auto-focus, Auto-exposure camera with a windshield bracket and illuminated buttons.
Overhead Control Panel - - Has tape controls and a color monitor for viewing. Also has an integrated speaker and controls for volume and brightness.
Wiring Harness - - Connects all of the components together. Also ties into the brake lights (to indicate on the recording, when the brakes are applied) and has two seperate "Trigger" connectors that can automatically start recording when +12v is sensed.
Locking Recorder Vault - - Mounts securely in trunk. Uses one key to lock it in place and another for recorder access (Both keys included)
Recorder Vault Mounting Plate - - Bolts securely to car, then vault (above) securely mounts onto plate.
In-Car Microphone - - Very small microphone that gets mounted within the interior of the vehicle, for audio recording.
VoiceLink System - - A remote microphone and transmitter that can record audio from up to 1000' from the vehicle. Included is the receiver that mounts in the vehicle and doubles as a drop-in charger for the transmitter. The transmitter has a built-in microphone and also a plug-in microphone that can be worn.
The remote transmitter also allows you to start recording by pressing a button on the transmitter.
Operating instructions and wiring diagram included.
The only thing not included is a self-adhesive clip (just like your rear-view mirror uses) that sticks onto the front windshield and holds the camera bracket. Auto-parts stores may be able to source one for you, or you can use some type of alternate mount for the camera.
